I came across this interesting artist – Amanda Salov. Here’s what she says about her work; … Tangible, beautiful events pass even when we are not aware. As an artist I focus contemplation and awareness on these fleeting moments… This is an ethereal moment; stillness preserved… We often want the anxious and awkward moment to pass as quickly as possible, but if we stand in these moments that are familiar and new we will grow.
Beautiful! Her work is somehow a physical statement of the essence of mindfulness (…as I see it). Wiki: Mindfulness…is an attentive awareness of the reality of things (especially of the present moment) is an antidote to delusion and is considered as such a ‘power’…

I got to find a way to buy these teacups! They are absolutely charming!
Hidden Animal Teacups made by the Canadien designer Ange-line Terault

Patrik and I just did this t-shirt design for a Montreal-based organization called Yellow Bird Project. They invite musicians and designers to create unique t-shirt designs that benefit an array of charities. We are just so excited about the result and the really lovely promotion photos they did. Dear friends and visitors - go buy some t-shirts…

Look for Minä Perhonen - a japanese fashion brand with really fine textiles and a wonderful color scheme.

New project finished! Yes! ‘Count to Ten’ is my latest illustration job. The poster is comissioned by the mother of the little boy Frederik who dreams of being a farmer. He payed me a visit some time ago and he asked me when he could start working as a farmer. Well, it was a bit difficult to explain him that he had to go to school at first and the news made him really sad. So Frederik, when you know how to count to ten I’m sure you have taken the first step towards being a hell of a farmer.

Some months ago I did a print for a bag commissioned by The National Centre for Reading, and yesterday I received the final result. I’m really satisfied. I was contacted one friday and the next friday we shipped the design to China, where the bag was to be produced. Pretty quick considering that I work full time elsewhere and that everybody at that time were busy enjoying their summer holidays. I’m relieved that everything turned out so well – everybody involved did their best in very short time.
The bag is to replace a common paper folder used at conferences and until now the bag has been well received by the danish teachers and other stakeholders.

Yesterday, I went for an exhibition at Gl.Strand. It was the work of the german painter Georg Baselitz, and I’m sure his a great painter, but my eyes catched this book about tribal decoration from Africa in the book store. Wow – what an amazing book! Sorry Georg, but in my eyes you can’t really compete with these beautiful abstract decorations.

I have started an archive of different structures and patterns executed with different materials. Here are some examples of what you can do with a pencil. Check the pencil series at my website.
